CONTRACT SERVICES
The Kentucky Climate Center is a charter member of the Applied Research and Technology Program (ARTP) at Western Kentucky University. The ARTP is a multidisciplinary program consisting of 12 scientific- and service-oriented centers designed to prepare students for the knowledge-based economy.

As a member of the ARTP, the Kentucky Climate Center operates within a cooperative and interdisciplinary framework to apply state-of-the-art science in providing climatic and related environmental services to meet the needs of Kentuckians in business and industry, education and research, government, and a range of other pursuits.

The Kentucky Climate Center engages undergraduate and graduate students in unique opportunities to transition from academia to the workplace through participation in supervised, hands-on applied research and technological projects.

This program is supported by the Commonwealth's Council on Postsecondary Education and through grants and contracts obtained by the member centers.
